The City of Aberdeen Distillery is the first distillery in Aberdeen City for over 80 years. The distillery is owned and run by two friends Dan and Alan. The experiences they offer are led by the head distiller.
Fairways Sports Promotion clients are offered a wide range of tours that will excite eveyone from a 45 minutes ‘Distillery Discovery Tour’, 90 minute ‘Gin Tasting Masterclass’, through to the 3 hour ‘Gin School Experience’. Fairways clients can distil their very own bottle of Scottish Gin within a historic railway arch in the heart of Aberdeen.
The experiences are led by the Head Distiller.
The distillery shop offers demi-johns (genuinely small batch gins distilled here in Aberdeen) and can be taken home in various bottle sizes (£5-£35). Taster samples and double G&T on arrival are included in all tours.

Distillery Discovery Tour
Overview
Guided tour of the distillery, talk on the history of gin & heritage of distilling in Aberdeen and Q&A with the head distiller.

● Talk on the history of distilling in Aberdeen and the journey establishing distillery
● Tour of the restricted production areas of the distillery
● Q&A with the head distiller
● At least three samples of our own genuine small batch gins

Gin Tasting Masterclass
Overview
Tutored tastings led by head distiller of single distillates and gins, G&T made from a preferred demi-john gin
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

● Welcome Gin and Tonic (double)
● Single distillates to help your client recognise the individual flavours that each brings to a gin
● Gin tasting of three distinctly different gins in order to further hone their tasting skill
● Clients are invited to try our range of demi-johns (a variety of in-house distilled gins)
Clients can choose their preferred demi-john and a G&T will be made to order

Clients distil their own 70cl bottle of gin on an individual mini-still & tour the facility

● Talk on the history of gin and on the history of distilling in Aberdeen
● Tour of the restricted production areas of the distillery
● Clients distil their own 70cl bottle of gin to take home on a alembic mini-still choosing from over 100 botanicals.
● The experience is led by head distiller who is on hand to help your clients make a great gin
● Drinks throughout and concludes with a celebratory cocktail
● Includes snacks
● Samples of our own genuine small batch gins
